7 Reading Readiness Apps for Special Needs Students

Students with special needs seem to really respond positively to ICT’s and technology. Maybe its the individualization, the power to work independently, the ability to work at their own pace or the solitude of working on an ipad, that has them preferring to learn with ICT’s as opposed to a noisy, busy, group-work situation.

I found this Source: 7 Reading Readiness Apps for Special Needs Students @ Edutopia. The title to pretty self-explanatory but they provide seven apps to help students with special needs toward reading readiness, touchscreen games that engage children through play with colors, shapes, animation, alphabet sequencing, and sentence structure.
